New Braunfels, Texas
Client – Titan Development
Located among the highest elevations in New Braunfels, Élan Westpointe affords fantastic views of the surrounding landscape in all directions while reflecting the architectural vernacular of Texas Hill Country. The new senior living community offers innovative design to assisted living and memory care residents starting with a long cantilevered covered drop off for easier queuing and less drop-off congestion. A stone rotunda greets visitors and organizes the circulation in the main commons area. A flexible venue is available to the dining and pre-function area – used as a coffee shop in the morning, café for lunch and a bar in the evening.
Memory Support is comprised of two flexible households that allow the Owner to adapt to changing needs and demographics.
The interiors are filled with daylight as amenity spaces are wrapped around courtyards and also have clerestory windows contributing to the individuality of the building.
Thanks to the hard work of the Ownership, Design and Construction Team this project passed it’s HHSC Initial Life Safety Inspection on the first try.
